Founder of the Manipal Group, late Mr. Upendra Ananth Pai was an outstanding practitioner of his precept. Several institutions, commercial and nonprofit which he founded , Co-founded, served the public at large in the most exemplary way. The best known institution which he Co-founded was Canara Industrial and Banking Syndicate Limited,a joint stock bank which today, as Syndicate Bank,is one of the large Nationalised Banks.
Currently, Mr. Sudhakar pai, son of Mr. Ramesh Pai, is the Chairman and the most successful businessman of the south. Infusing modern management techniques he is now steering the Manipal Group in its ventures into core sector and Greenfield projects

The success story of Manipal group is very fascinating. Under the Chairmanship of respected Mr. Ramesh Pai, Manipal grew to great heights.
